We hope you have had a relaxing summer and are ready for a new season of learning, networking and meeting some of the many bright minds in our network. There are many updates and input below. What did you return to after the summer break?
How is your organisation evolving and what does that mean for you and your work? And how are you and your colleagues dealing with the constantly changing work-life situation? (we are deliberately avoiding the word “balance”...)
The network is an ideal forum for exploring these and other large and pressing topics. We hope you and your colleagues will join our many learning and development activities and add your insights to the conversation. We promise lots of relevant input in return.

We have reviewed all the activities we launched in haste during the many months when we were unable to meet. We have sharpened the formats, changed the frequencies of some of the online events and spoken to many of you about what’s topping your agendas and to do lists right now.

One of the new formats we have kept evolving behind the scenes is ConnectMinds EXPLORER. We are launching two new EXPLORER groups in the coming weeks. They will focus on “Employee Advocacy - beyond “please share this”” and “Measuring impact - are you measuring what really matters?” Full details and sign up below. NOTE: you can sign up for our new “EXPLORER membership” if that is the only format you are interested in or have band-with for right now. EXPLORER groups are small (5-7 members) so spaces are limited.

Finding more bright minds
15 years in the making, ConnectMinds had been evolving and growing increasingly more focused on what exactly our purpose is and how to facilitate it right up to COVID shut the world down. The lockdowns made this impossible. Moreover, all you bright minds were in extreme demand elsewhere and there simply was no time to do what we used to do: test ideas, reflect and collaborate with peers.
Needless to say, this was a toxic combo for ConnectMinds. Fast forward to today: we need new bright minds in the network - and we know that members who recommend the network to their contacts is several times more effective than when we “cold contact” people who don’t know us. So: we hope you will do just that. We have made it super easy - and we will reward both you and those you introduce for the favour. It’s all in this short walk-through of what we call “Rewards for Recommendations”:
