Peer learning, career development and new perspectives in an environment of openness and trust.
You manage change, connections, communication, culture and channels; inside or outside the blurring firewall.
You lead with a digital mindset. You know that it is not digital tools or particular tech, design or comms skillsets that will drive transformation; it is a change in mindset.
You facilitate the flows, bridge the gaps and join the dots between stakeholders, teams and departments.
You filter out noise and curate critical content that can change behaviours and make things happen.
You help leaders say what they think in ways that make their message understandable and actionable - using formats that suit audience and context.
Your organisation is large and complex - so you often navigate a degree of chaos.
You have delivered and made an impact many times - often against the odds - and you are always looking for ways to work smarter so you can deliver what your colleagues need without compromising on quality or running out of time.
ConnectMinds is an international knowledge network where peers with similar roles and remits learn, share, grow, collaborate and find better solutions in an atmosphere of openness and trust.
A membership gives you and your organisation access to fresh ideas, sharp thinking and deep expertise from a broad range of leading organisations from across all sectors and industries around the world - ever day.
The network is your forum for idea pitching, problem solving, professional growth, inspiration and peer validation.
We don’t pretend to have the answers, but we continually challenge and assess established ways. We activate, cultivate and elevate the many ideas our members have under their belts.
We know that knowledge sharing and frank constructive discussions in a setting where participants know and trust each other can shift perspectives, create meaningful partnerships and foster collaboration. So that’s what we do.
Our main focus: to ensure the network stays relevant, forward-looking and accessible for you as a member. Maintaining a network that continually matches the reality and addresses the changing challenges of our members requires constant “re-calibration” and an ongoing dialogue with every member. Therefore, we stay up-to-date with the activities and tendencies in the respective member organisations; with what you actually work on and how you are progressing.
We always look for people with relevant experience to join the network. Professionals with similar ambitions and skill sets that compliment each other; people who can challenge, support & inspire you - and you them!
How can one describe Peer Learning best? Imagine an environment where establishing an ongoing dialog with our peers is the basis of your work. In this place we are eye to eye with our peers and we strive to be equal partners looking for creative solutions together.
Peer learning done well is powerful. It builds relationships, creates a willingness to connect, to collaborate and generates a sense of ‘we’. Essentially peer learning is people coming together to learn with and from others, usually as they endeavour to improve or change things.
Most people need, and everyone benefits from having social interactions during the day. Chatting, remote meetings online etc. can make a big difference. Here are some tips and tricks from members of our network and our own experience in working remotely.
2020 is a time without anyone to tell us the rules of the game. How everything will look in 12 months is almost unknowable. So what skills do we need right now to navigate in an uncertain time? What helps in a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) situation? I would argue that it’s our skills in sense-making that will have a great impact in the coming months.
