Make the case for joining

  • The network counts companies and organisations from every sector; private, public, Government, NGO, charities, higher education. The few common denominators: large and complex organisations with an ambition to continually evolve and improve the disciplines we cover. A list of some of the member organisations we have had in the network over the years can be found in our About Us section.

  • Once we have identified the right ON LOCATION group for you, your group leader will share the member list with you. We are also happy to introduce you to members in the group, so you can talk to them directly about their experience with the network.

  • You are not limited to your local ON LOCATION group. There are plenty of other ways of getting input If you are working on something very specific and would like to explore it in depth with a small number of peers working on exactly that, we will help you find them - and together you can decide how to take it forward.

A possible format would be a focused EXPLORER group.

PS: we will continue running the local groups that meet in person as we still strongly believe that the social component is both enjoyable and conducive of deep, meaningful relations. The format has unique potential; great things happen when you gather a group, who know and trust each other. The energy, atmosphere, serendipity, creativity and fun… simply irreplaceable!

  • There are several ways. Here 3 good ones:

Members can register their areas of interest and skills on their ConnectUs profile. You can search and find members by their indicated interests and skills.

You can post you question / call for expertise on the “Feed My Mind” feeds on ConnectUs.

Alternatively, simply talk to a ConnectMinds knowledge broker. We are in regular contact with all our members and can guide and introduce you to the members most likely to have the answer or master the skills you are looking for.

How it works

  • Some of it can: 1 membership (SOLO or 1 out of a larger TEAM membership) includes 1 seat in 1 ON LOCATION group. This can only be used by the membership holder (can be lent to a colleague if the member is unable to participate in certain sessions. The group leader must be advised) That same membership allows colleagues on the member's team to participate in all the formats and activities open to colleagues - see the 1-pager listing and explaining all elements in the membership.

  • The clue is in the name; a MindMeet is a meeting of minds. A huge amount of time and attention goes into planning each MindMeet; consultations with the respective members about their needs, interests, challenges and ambitions, ongoing dialogues with industry experts, thought leaders and other trusted partners about how current trends and tendencies, short-term predictions and other relevant factors should be reflected in the content and influence the direction and overall focus of our groups. Our lives are full of poorly planned and unproductive meetings; Our branding is meant to reflect our mindful and detailed approach to planning each event. We are fully aware that delivering a fruitful and elevated learning experience is about much more than calling in something fancy - so the name is just a small part of the total experience.

  • Member organisations take turn hosting at their Companies. Visiting each others' places of work adds both social and cultural dimensions to the sessions and enriches the overall membership experience enormously. We learn much more about the fabric and ethos of the host organisation by visiting it than a corporate slide-intro could ever do. This is a very popular part of being a ConnectMinds member.

  • Your Group Leader & knowledge Broker will contact you and offer a brief quarterly online meeting; a CONSULTATION. The objective is to provide a mutual update, allowing us at ConnectMinds to sharpen and improve the membership experience and to point you and your team to the most relevant and apppropriate events in the calendar. A ConnectMinds CONSULTATION is also an opportunity to discuss any question, challenge or idea with a ConnectMinds group leader 1:1 before discussing it with the group or posting it more widely in the network. If you have a burning question or a pressing challenge - or if you simply want to discuss an idea for an upcoming group meeting, you can book a brief call with your ConnectMinds group leader any time.

  • It depends on the nature of the enquiry; how many members you wish to consult; what type of input you are looking for and whether it is important that the input comes from folks with prior knowlege / history they need to be in possession of:

Contact the members in your ON LOCATION Group directly in the group's area on ConnectUs - our online member platform.

Post it in the global "all members" feed on ConnectUs and inform your Group Leader & Knowledge Broker; they will then quickly identify a shortlist of the members most likely to have useful input and facilitate the introduction - if you wish.

If in doubt, book a brief CONSULTATION with your Group Leader & Knowledge Broker and discuss the options in more detail.

  • We will send out regular updates listing all the newly added events in the Connectinds calendar. You can always check on the Events section at ConnectUs; our member platform. (The events page is one of the areas of ConnectUs with full and open access, so you can forward links to events you think are relevant for your colleagues or anyone else who might be interested).

  • Well, Congratulations on being a real champion! -And thanks for your contributions. We are, however, pretty confident that we have other experienced superstars in the network, who are equally ambitious and are keen to raise the bar as much as you. Whether you think it is time for geeking out over something specific or whether you are simply after a stimulating forum of experts at your level, we can facilitate both - and it’s all part of your membership. Talk to us about your ambitions and together we’ll find ways of achieving them.
