Agenda for the 4th December 2019
The Hilton journey with headless CMS and content ops
Gordon McKie will be taking us through their project with headless CMS, their plans for the next-generation connected room, and how this should all tie together.
Hilton have made a significant investment in content operations - they have a team of 70 based in Scotland and Texas. They are still answering questions about roles, skillsets and team design. When resource isn’t the primary constraint, what’s your next move?
Gordon will present on the headless CMS/Connected Room topic with an opportunity to explore the project with him. We will also be holding a discussion around taking teams forward, in terms of structure, skills, roles, and culture. The conversation will start with the questions they have at Hilton.

4 Cadogan Square, Glasgow, G2 7PH - Google maps
The building is a little hidden. Cadogan Square is located at the farthest end of Cadogan Street from Central Station. As you approach, you’ll see a public car park. To the left, there is a door which takes you in to Cadogan Square. At the top of the stairs, turn left and follow the signs for Hilton.
