In times of uncertainty when things are highly unpredictable, good guidance, validation and reassurance from experienced peers can be both powerful and valuable. In this issue we’ll zoom in on how, by joining a professional network, you can leverage the insights of other members to your advantage; both how you find those with the insights matching your exact needs and how you then use them to make the right decisions that enables you to deliver better solutions faster and ultimately be more successful.

The 2023 learning programme is in full swing

Don’t navigate on your own!
Most organisations are working through radical changes in the aftermath of the pandemic and are trying to define and design the right operational framework for the world in which we now find ourselves.
This at a time when many things are still up in the air; and not just trivial matters, but fundamental factors beyond the control of even the most senior people in the organisation; inflation, energy prices, supply chain disruptions and war to name just a few that are hard to ignore.
They may seem abstract and remote, but time and time again we hear that their impact makes it difficult to plan and prioritise on the ground; to determine which projects to push through, which skills gaps to focus on; which opportunities to pursue etc. Moreover, many find it hard to find current reliable guidance, best practice info etc.

ConnectMinds was founded precisely to help its members navigate more safely and successfully through dilemmas, difficult decision making, unpredictable times and uncertainty. We bring together bright minds in similar roles whose hard-earned experiences can inspire, guide and reassure others and save them time and hassle.

Exploring the topics that matter right now: we curate a relevant LEARNING PROGRAMME in close collaboration with members. As a member, you will collaborate and learn both in-person and online. You will learn from some of the best thought leaders and experts in your field; we invite them to share their insights and facilitate exchanges whenever it makes sense.
Making the right introductions at the right time: we leverage the many insights in the network through making relevant introductions and useful connections.
The insights you need right now
As a member, you will be exposed to a mix of the most important topics right now. We will also discuss emerging trends and assess which ones are likely to become part of your portfolio before long and which you’ll therefore need to get to grips with sooner or later.
Others will be labelled “buzz” or “hot air” by the collective voice of the network, and you won’t have to waste valuable time investigating them.

It is focused around our core competencies and you will not have to follow a hugely busy feed such as you find them on Twitter or LinkedIn.
Everyone who signs up will be able to access some of the content and the full-network activity feed, join the discussion, post questions and answers, check out the Learning Calendar and get a feel for the activities and exchanges that take place in ConnectMinds. There are naturally also areas exclusively for members.
